The Paul E. Buchanan Award recognizes contributions to the study and preservation of vernacular architecture and the cultural landscape that do not take the form of books or published work. Reports, documentation projects, restoration plans, National Register or local nominations, exhibits, video/digital media productions and similar reports and projects are eligible for recognition. This award honors the valuable work that many of our members and professional associates perform. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 28, 2022.

Nominations should include 1) a brief email or cover letter that in a few lines explains the project and why it deserves special recognition, and 2) if applicable, a PDF of the project. For video/digital media productions, please include project links in your email.
