Information for Conference Attendees

This year the conference will be free to VAF members. To access the pages with the Zoom links, you will need to be logged into the VAF website. 

1.    IMPORTANT: Be sure you can log in as a member to the VAF website.  In order to log in, use the email address you use for the VAF homepage along with the password you set for your VAF account. If you've forgotten password, please reset it here. If you have forgotten which email address you used or if you continue to have trouble, please email While a volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible, please be sure to do this well in advance of the morning of the conference, to be sure you have access at the start of events. 

2.    Make sure you save these credentials and have them ready to go on the morning of the conference. 

3.    Familiarize yourself with the Zoom Application. Please review this short video on “Joining Meetings” if you are not familiar with the application. Other Help Resources can be found at the Zoom website

4.   VAF Virtual Conference Code of Conduct: The VAF has a zero tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment by participants, and we reserve the right to excuse participants from the virtual event should unacceptable behavior take place. Examples of unacceptable behavior include but are not limited to:

    • Harassment of any form, such as inappropriate or intimidating behavior and language; unwelcome jokes or comments; unwanted attention; offensive images; photography without permission; and threatening any attendee, speaker, volunteer, and staff member, or other meeting guest.
    • Discrimination of any form, such as inappropriate actions or statements related to race, physical appearance, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability status, political affiliation, religion, nationality, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, educational background, and/or any other characteristic protected by law.
    • Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, or other meeting guest.
    • Disruption of presentations at sessions.
    • If you experience profiling or harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, the VAF asks that you inform a conference moderator or host
